Got me wondering if there is something deeper to this microstutter after all. I don't have the chance to try 3x1 screens, or 2 of those cards, but I am sure some of you will have the above eventually. Some feedback would be great.

btw. Sent HardwareHeaven an E-mail and asked for a Frametime.csv from Fraps recorded. Wondering how they answer :)

I have not seen any micro stuttering problem on the 7970CF @ 5760x1080 using battlefield. If you look at this page here: http://www.hardwareheaven.com/reviews/1362/pg4/amd-radeon-hd-7970-crossfire-performance-review-battlefield-3.html

You will see the graph which was taken from our CSV file (about half way down). It is considerably different to the one you created in your thread where the erratic performance is visible. Maybe it is system specific? The French guys don’t say what their entire setup is, just that it was 980x and Win7 but as I say on our 3960x, 16gb, Sandforce SSD, X79, Win 7 x64 system there are no problems.

There you go. Frametimes of Dirt 3 Benchmark, full maxed out. 83FPS.
You can find 6950cf and 5870cf in the other thread... somewhere...





And... here a lot of tests with 16x PCI-E and 8xPCI-E the 16x was OC'ed to 1150mhz and the 8x was 925mhz.

Okay, for comparission Single GPU vs Multi GPU i made a lot of other tests!

Result: Driver are baaaaaad! AMD has a lot of Work to do!

In my Gallery you can find all tests! When i find some more time i'm gonna do a Graph with FPS also...
