Interesting article on CPU scaling of the 7970. Perfect choice of CPU's. Just wish they also did this using crossfire and eyefinity resolutions.

Maybe the next task for Ibrin :-)

You say maybe next task for Ibrin, so do I assume that you mean the WSGF article on the 7970?

If so, then if you check the benchmarks you will see that eyefinity resolutions are incuded, crossfire is not due to the lack of a 2nd card.

What article, mine? I did do both widescreen and Eyefinity resolutions. Additionally, a second 7970 was not available for testing in Crossfire. Samples were limited.

:((

Do they send out CF pairs for Certain Sites? Or did every just get one?
Did you have to request one, or did it come without asking?
Do you have to send them Back? Or are you just not fond of OC'ing? maybe you just didnt mention it in the review but already tried to clock up to 1125mhz? No urge to try Voltmode which gives 1.25V and higher Clocks?

Rahhhhhh...just cant wait to get my own Hands on a HD7970...
