Hey, I tried to find this online, but is there anyway to tell ccc to forget about the border space between monitors. ex: Currently the borders consume anything "behind" them. Could I have it so it does a "windows extend" (puts whats behind the borders on screen) but using eyefinity?

Making up for the image mis-alignment caused by the spacing is called "Bezel Compensation". WHen you create an Eyefinity Group, CCC gives teh option to set Bezel compensation. Say No, and it will not,. Even if you Do set it up (which does look ncier for games) you can stil quickly switch between compensated adn non-compensated resolutions in CCC or even with Windows itself.

Easy-peasy.

Simple-pimple.

Basic...-schmasic.

Hi :welcome
You can indeed create another profile that does not use the bezel compensation.

In CCC, create a new eyefinity profile and save it without any compensation :)

I have 3 profiles that allow me to easily switch between 3 extended monitors, eyefinity at 5760x1080 without bezel compensation or 6124x1080 with bezel compensation.
Hope this helps.

I have another question: Is there anyway to have the "snap to screen" on each monitor individually? Right now it treats both as one, so that isnt working right.. :/ Is there a way to switch back and forth quickly or a setting to modify to allows this?

Hydravisions' "Hydragrid " (from AMD driver site) can do that, making simulated screen edges that are adjustable. It also allows custom simulated edges. Though if you put say, a browser, into full-screen, it'll still expand across teh large desktop, though maximize will still stay within the simulated confines.

I think Ultramon does it, too.

Hydravision would be my best bet but I get this error message, after that the window closes and that's that. That seems to be a dead end. And Ultramoon does not offer any help as it sees the eyefinity display as one large display and cant break it down.

Any other ideas?

EDIT: Someone mentioned the ability to set hotkeys to enable/disable the eyefinity group.. how would I go about doing that? :o

Edit 2: Wow, found this amazing piece of software that is incredibly friendly with my eyefinity setup its called SplitView and so far I HIGHLY recommend it for anyone in my predicament.

Too bad about Hydragrid, yay for Splitview. I'll have to remember it.

For Hotkeys, you can set them in the section that you save and load your Presets in CCC. Though the Presets haven't; worked properly for me since the early 10.x drivers. Another user pointed out that one can use the Winkey+P keyboard shortcuts to switch between single, extended, and Eyefinity modes, so i just use that. Even when my Presets loading DID work, I'd often have to load profiles twice, adn the arrangement would often be incorrect. This ever happens with the Winkey+P trick.

Yup, I played around with the presets and their real crap and using Ctrl+P makes the monitors flash and re-sizes alot of windows (I'm really picky) but SplitView does an amazing job of dividing windows.
