Highlights of the AMD Catalyst™ 11.10 Windows release includes:
   
   AMD Eyefinity enhancements
   Enables support for Eyefinity 5x1 display (portrait and landscape) configurations
   Maximum supported resolution has been increased to 16000 x 16000 pixels on the AMD Radeon HD 6000 Series. (limited to DX11 applications only)
   Bezel compensation is now possible when using sets of displays that have mismatched pixel densities.
   
   
   
   AMD VECC/CCC enhancements
   Improvements have been implemented to better facilitate the enabling and control of the following features within the Vision Engine Control Center / Catalyst Control Center
   AMD Overdrive for GPUs
   Information Center (software and hardware)
   
   
   
   Resolved Issues for the Windows 7 Operating System
   This section provides information on resolved known issues in this release of the AMD Catalyst™ 11.10 software suite for Windows 7. These include:
   Some OpenGL games like Enemy Territory Quake Wars no longer experiences random corruption.
   Lost Planet 2 no longer experiences random crashes when running the benchmark.
   F1 2010 and Dirt 2 no longer experience random flashing during the game.
   Google Earth no longer displays random corruption when running in OpenGL mode.
   Mafia II no longer experiences a random crash during game loading / game play when Crossfire is enabled.
   Unigine Heaven running in DirectX 11 mode no longer experiences a performance drop when running with Dual Graphics enabled.
   Homefront no longer experiences random game crashes.
   Random flashing is no longer experienced when playing back SD/BD content on a 120Hz monitor.
   An application crash is no longer randomly observed while playing M2V/Mpeg2/Mpeg4 files and toggling the Hardware Acceleration setting.
   Display corruption is no longer experienced on the primary display when running in extended display mode with AERO enabled.

   Display corruption is no longer experienced on the primary display when running in extended display mode with AERO enabled.
   Scaling options are now correctly displayed when connecting DisplayPort / DFP monitors.
   An application crash is no longer randomly observed while playing M2V/Mpeg2/Mpeg4 files and toggling the Hardware Acceleration setting.

PS - i was unable to do bold within that code. What gives?

Question for 11.10 users - Ibrin said in a news post it's fixed bezel correction/compensation with differing pixel densities... does this mean I would be able to get bezel comp working with two Dell 2405s and one U2410? Because I've not really kept up with EyeFinity and what limitations it has had fixed - one of the older ones was no bezel comp with mixed monitors...

I'm pretty sure that'll work, Paradigm Shifter. I just updated to 11.10 WHQL and I can use bezel compensation with my two Dell 2409Ws combined with a P2310H. All three are 1920x1080, but the P2310H is 23" while the 2409Ws are 24" I could not access bezel compensation under 11.9 and prior with this setup.

New 16Mp x 16 Mp limit. Old was 16mp x 8mp ?

Oh... Important info! WHQL version is from 12. October. Preview 3 is from 16. October and has Other OpenGL driver! If you're playing Rage. Dont install WHQL 11.10! Stay with Preview 3.

Old limit was 8096x8096, Haldi. :) DX11 and the tweaks done to the 6000 series doubles that to 16384x16384.

...

Bifurk; thanks for confirmation there. Might mean I dive in and switch to EyeFinity with the 7000 series - would take a headache away if the cards are powerful enough (and have enough VRAM, I'm not convinced that even 2GB is enough - 4GB would be better)... :D

I wont upgrade til I get a new CPU, that being said I probably wont upgrade my GPU til the 7000 series comes out either.
For some reason I can still ply games fairly well on a single 5870 at 7680x1600 or 4800x2560.
