Hi All,

I'm currently running 2 HD6970's in crossfire mode (CCC 11.6), running my 3 projectors. I also have a 4th monitor which I like to use as my desktop when I'm not gaming and work from, yet am only able to access it when crossfire mode is disabled (as it's connected to the second card). Now I was thinking that I could run two presets, one which runs in crossfire mode, and only runs the 3 PJs with eyefinity enabled (for gaming), and the other that runs crossfire disabled, allowing the 4th monitor to be active and act as my primary screen.

I've created a number of presets, some with crossfire enabled, and some with it disabled; When toggling between the crossfire disabled presets, it does it with out any problems or delays, as expected. On the other hand, when trying to toggle between a non crossifre preset to a crossfire preset, it simply refuses and does nothing. Furthermore, when manually switching on crossfire mode and attempting to toggle to other crossfire presets, nothing happens either.

My question is if this is normal and just a case of crossfire mode not being compatible with preset toggling (which i find a bit daft as it defeats the whole point of having presets in my case). The next question is, if I cannot control crossfire mode using presets, is there another fast way around toggling it on and off without having to open CCC each time and altering it (as this would then allow me to then access my non crossfire presets).

Any info would be much appreciated,

Cheers

Julian
