Hi, I think Topic name says everything, I've got these two screens connected to my 5850 GPU, can I do something interesting with games (older games allright too) ??

I know the problem is both screen don't share same resolutions and ratio (16/10 1920x1200 and 16/9 1920*1080).

If I understand correctly, I cannot use ATI Eyefinity because of this problem, is it right ???

So, what are the other options ??

Thanks !

Other informations:
- Windows 7 x64
-Intel e8200 @ 3.2 ghz
-6 Go DDR2 400

Supreme Commander or sims games that support multi-monitor, otherwise sell both of them and get three of the same monitors if possible.

You could get another 16/9 1920*1080 but that wouldn't be ideal for eyefinity, I know some don't mind it but matched resolutions/sizes are generally better.

Thanks...

Since my first post, I've read somewhere that I can use Eyefinity with my two screens, using 1680*1050, is it true ?

You can use eyefinity on the monitors you have but they would both run at the lower resolution which may not look great on the higher res monitor.

Assuming you are gaming then even if the 2 monitors were identical it would still be a poor experience as most games have the players focus on the centre of the available screen real estate - imagine a crosshairs in a fps split by the two bezels. Sure, it works AND sure, it would suck.
