Hello all, I have been using eyefinity for a while now and I think its great. I run 3 "24 lcd at 6056x1080. My specs are: Rampage 2 Gene, i7 920@ 4Ghz, 6g Mushkin Redline 6 6 6 18 1600mHz, XFX 6970 2g, W7 64, 700w psu.
My question is, can I have eyefinity with the 6970 for landscape-1or2- other monitors for gauges and gps on another 5850 in the same system. NOT CROSSFIRE. seprate cards for seprate views in FSX. So to sum up...6970 for Virtual Cockpit in eyefinity, and, 5850 for gauges and such/1-2 monitors. Or should I build another system for the seprate monitors? Please help.

Well, it seems that in my impatientcy (whatever) I've solved my own dillema of the mix of cards and monitors that I posess. I am currently using 3x1(for external view)-1 extended(gauges, gps,and radios) all from one card 6970 and non fps hit that I can see anyway. Now I can build my dashboard. :idea: :rockout :mrgreen:
