My question is can the horizontal stretching of the side monitors be controlled? Can't seem to find much information on this, except that it's probably done in purpose. I'm not sure that it does it in all games either, but I mostly play WoW at the moment. I might try installing dragonage again later tonight to see if it does it there too. The WoW tech people posted that it's not them doing it, but eyefinity. It give me a bit of a headache, so that's why I'd love to disable it. Any advice or knowledge on the subject would be wonderful... can't seem to find much. Thanks! |

Eyefinity is not to blame; it's the way 3D graphics work that causes distortion on the outer edges of the display. The higher the FOV, the more of the distortion is exposed so it's easier to notice in multi-monitor modes, although they're not the cause. Only the few games that can render one viewpoint per screen are unaffected. Check this out: The Truth About Edge Distortion |

Interesting and thank you, learn something new everyday! That pretty much sums up what I assumed the answer would be... which is the only thing that can adjust in this formula is my eyes, not the screen  |
