I had this link passed to me:

http://www.brightsideofnews.com/news/2009/12/14/is-atis-eyefinity-really-that-great-ore280a6.aspx

Seems like a troll post, and rather self serving to something whose mind was already made up and someone who has never actually used the technology. Let's go post and set them straight. A couple of things to (nicely) point out:
* Most people are not using six screens due to bezels in the middle - and the EyeFinity6 card isn't even released yet
* Monitors aren't that expensive
* Extra FOV helps in all games - even FPS
* Bezels are not distracting
* Damn near every thing except Far Cry 2 his highly playable at 5760x1200 on max settings.

Link to to the benchmarks. Link to the YouTube videos.

Personally, I think it's a waste to comment there. The people posting aren't doing it to learn anything new or insightful. It's a bit better place than Semiaccurate or The Inquirer, but all that is gutter tabloid tech gossip imho.

BSN is no better than FUD, INQ or S|A...

None of them are worth trusting as a source.

I simply couldn't let misconceptions go unanswered.

Nice post, but I don't think it should go much further. I haven't even heard of that site before you linked it, and anyone reading the 'article' can see it's based off an inexperienced opinion backed up by another biased inexperienced opinion.
You've stated some facts which can't be questioned via the benchmarks and poll results which is as much as you can do. Going any further will just be arguing opinion vs opinion which is utterly pointless.
