In my last post I said that I don’t need extra cables and I might have been wrong. After some further testing it seems that running 720p or 1080p files of the HDMI port (integrated graphics) might not be such a good idea. The performance (especially the smoothness) is less than perfect. When I use my 7950’s HDMI port all is fine. So I will be buying either one or two mini DP to DP cables. Currently I am using the mini DP to DP adapter that came with the 7950. Do you guys think that a straight mini DP to DP cable would perform better in any way in comparison to the adapter I am using right now? If yes than I will buy two, if no then that would be a waste of money.
