Hey guys, I've been looking around for other possibilities. The only slots I have available are regular old PCI.

Is it possible to have BOTH nvidia and ati drivers installed?

Could I have catalyst 11.8 installed, and the latest nvidia drivers for this card:

I really don't want to give up on my idea of 3x1 crossfire/eyefinity display + an extended 4th monitor.

Does anyone think this might work? How would this affect the eyefinity display group creation? Would the 4th monitor just not show up in the CCC? Then I just use windows display manager to move the 4th (nvidia) monitor around the large 5760x1200 "single" display that windows sees?

Thanks to anyone who can help.

I use a 250gts in my machine that I use for physx. Also have my 5970 with eyefinity. I do not have monitors hooked up the the 250gts at all. You can use them with monitors but I had issues with my system when I would reboot. Sometimes it would see the 250gts as the primary gpu.

That is why I went with the usb to vga setup that you see in a couple post up from this one. Good luck.
