Post subject:  Bad Boys II aka Bad Boys: Miami Takedown widescreen?
Hello guys.
Bad Boys II aka Bad Boys: Miami Takedown is a low-budget game based on the license of the famous 2003 movie. Unfortunately, the highest resolution in the launcher that you can choose is 1280x960.
In the game folder there is a BB2Config.cfg but when I open it with a notepad or notepad ++, only unintelligible characters are displayed. Is there a chance to set widescreen 1920x1080?

No chance for widescreen or higher resolution than 1280x960? Maybe there is another program that will display the information of the B 2 Config.cfg file correctly?
Sometimes in old games a custom resolution can be set in registry but there is not option to change it in I only find this in:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE_WoW64Node_Empire Interactive
(default) REG_SZ (undetermined value)
Language REG_DWORD 0x0000000 (9)
Location REG_SZ C:\Program Files x86 Empire Interactive\Bad Boys 2
I also put BBpc.exe into the XVI32 hex editor, but that's beyond my knowledge.

I don't like when developers limit the choice of resolution in the games. This is a game from 2004 and at least there should be a choice of 1600x1200.

Thank you. There was one problem. After copying the contents from the 1920x1080 folder cutscenes stopped playing. It was enough to copy the video folder from the CD to the game folder and cutscenes are playable again.
It's seems the game has a limit of 50 frames per second. This isn't a big problem but is it possible to have 60 frames?

Copy patcher to the game folder and apply patch.
