Hey guys. So I've been coming to this site for quite a while every time I need a widescreen fix and just wanted to say a big thanks first of all :D.

Alright, well I just purchased a few cheap indie games off steam to play when I'm bored.

  • Fortix

  • Breath of Death VII

  • Cthulhu Saves the World

I realize they don't really benefit much from a higher resolution, but I'm anal like that. I like to get every game max resolution for my monitor, borderless windowed if possible :p.

Anyway, I have no idea how to go about forcing a resolution on them. Here's a little information on the games:

Fortix, game plays at 1024 x 786 natively. There is a fullscreen on/off option in the settings menu, but nothing else. If fullscreen is off it will just display a 1024 x 768 window.

Breath of Death VII and Cthulhu Saves the World, both have three options: Windowed 640 x 360, Windowed 1280 x 720 and Fullscreen at your desktop resolution. So yes they can be played fullscreen at a high resolution, but the problem is you cannot alt+tab out of the game at all if you choose this option, which to be honest I can't stand :p. So I need a way of setting a custom resolution in windowed mode.

With all three games I can set them in windowed mode and stretch them with the borderless window application I am using, but that doesn't yield very good results (looks bad).

Appreciate any help guys!
