Anyone had any luck getting Diablo 3 to work in portrait mode?(3600x1920) I have tried widescreen fixer and flawless widescreen to no avail. I am stuck with greyed out video options that are at 1024x768 windowed. I have tried editing the d3prefs file but it keeps getting overwritten by D3. Is there a way to create a game profile to force it in the nvidia control panel? I was reading about an eyefinity person that was able to get it to work that way.
I am using GTX 670 SLi with drivers 301.42 on a fresh win7 install. I also tried using the driver that came with the 670s and same result.

When using widescreen fixer I am not sure if its loading correctly. When launched I get
"Exception: Unable to load .DLL Unmanaged.DetectDisplays64.dll. The specified module could not be found.
Stack Trace: at library.detectdisplays.detectdisplays.dd64.initialize
at library.detectdisplays.detectdisplays.initialize"

I have made sure visual C++ 2010, .net 4.0 is in as well as used 7-zip. The 2 referenced .dlls are in the widescreen fixer directory.
On flawless widescreen it says fixed enabled and looks like it applies them but the game is still at 1024x768.

Did you try alt tabbing in and out?

Yes I tried alt tabbing in and out. I also tried going landscape first. I do finally get options to go full screen 1920x1200 in the options from landscape. It looks like it will work that way but I do not like landscape. But at least the fix works that way. I then went to nvidia control panel and flipped back to portrait and kept diablo minimized to see if I could get away with it but I get a d3d error for the game.
Hopefully I can explain this correctly.
The closest I can come to making me feel like I am making progress is to load diablo in landscape. Switch to fullscreen windowed mode in diablo. Then flip to portrait in nvidia control panel. The game will then fill the top half of the screen. So essentially 3600x900. Big problem though is the bottom half of the game is chopped off. There is no window to drag to make it fill the screen. All the corresponding graphics are chopped also. Tried alt tabbing and everything else I could think of up to and including widescreen fixer. The problem feels like blizzard has no support for any portrait mode i.e. 1200x1920. I might try 1 monitor and and see if the game will load in portrait.
