Hey guys. I signed up just for this thread lol

I run UT99 on 1366x768. The game runs perfect, no slow fps or anything. Using FOV of 107. The only problem I can't seem to solve is that when I take screenshots, they're 3MB bmp files and when I convert them to jpgs, they turn out like this: http://i51.tinypic.com/r292xz.jpg

I know the resolution is the problem b/c I changed it to 1024x768 and the screenshot turned out fine. Is there anyway to fix this???

Thx :D

edit: I've tried this using both D3D9 and OGL renders. Same results

is it just during a video?

if its during gameplay let me know, video's in older games were just video files, and sometimes trying to capture them that way would give you an error.

Do the pics look messed up as BMP files, or only after conversion?

Because if they look OK as BMPs, I'd suggest just saving as them, then converting to JPEG with something like irfanview.

i cant even view or open the files as BMPs. Photoshop give's me an end of file error. I use the UT SS converter to do the conversion, which works fine in other resolutions.

and no, it's not for a video.

Have you tried taking the screenshots with a program like FRAPS instead?

no, didn't think of that. I found a work around. Just using 1360x768 instead of 1366x768 for my UT resolution and it's working fine now. and changed my FOV to 108.
