Purchased a Dell 30 inch monitor with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 x32 a couple of weeks ago to use with my flight sim setup. This replaced a Dell 24 inch @ 1920 x 1200 x 32. As I put the new monitor thru it's paces everything was great until I got to the PMDG 747-400. Everything with it is fine except the overhead panel. When it is displayed, there are sections of the panel misplaced and superimposed over other sections of the panel. Some of the superimposed panels are nite textures. When I reduce the resolution the problem goes away. Updated the vid card drivers (BFG gtx 280/ GeForce 182.50 drivers), even did a reinstall of the plane all to no avail. Contacted PMDG, they really offered no help. As a side note, I also have the PMDG 737 series created for FS 2002 and all the panels in that plane work correctly. At this point I am not sure if there is a fix for this. This is the only panel out of all my planes (and thats alot) that has an issue. To make it more interesting, other flight simmers using 30 inch monitors at the same resolution do not have this problem with the 747 overhead. Any ideas very welcome.
