Patch 1.1 is out : Necrivision can now be run in any resolution/aspect ratio.

For proper widescreen gaming though, you'll need my lil fix.
http://www.4shared.com/file/93627683/1b4eac07/NecroVisioN_11_-_widescreen_FOV_fix.html

What it does :
-FOV & sprint FOV corrected (Hor+ gameplay)
-iron sights crash fixed

For Surround support, you need this fix :
http://www.4shared.com/file/96356330/6f11e3fc/NecroVisioN_11_-_TripleHead_fix.html

What it does :
Same as widescreen FOV fix + modded weapons files for correct positions in TripleHead resolutions.

For more details check out the Detailed Report

Enjoy if you can ! 8)

Shouldn't it work with 16:9 also? With the according FOV-numbers of course.

Did anybody try that?

The problem with 16:9 (and any other aspect ratio except 4:3/5:4/16:10) is that it's not supported at all : you can't run Necrovision in 16:9, period. :(

At the moment all you can do is play in a 16:10 res with 16:9 FOV, which would still result in stretched gameplay on a 16:9 panel (the FOV can't save the day if the AR's wrong).
Be my guest, install the fix then edit Bin/config.ini as follows :

Cfg.FOV = 115.645766981
Cfg.FOVRun = 124.60137855

You can then find-tune these and see what you get.

A safer bet would be to wait for an official patch. The devs have been informed of the issue, so hopefully 16:9 resolutions will be supported soon...

I did. scavv = ztorm on some forums :)

Edit: great news ! I playtested another beta patch and ALL resolutions are now available, although the FOV still needs to be manually tinkered with. FOV fix for 16:9 will follow soon. Hopefully Necrovision will even be playable in Surround... more on that later... 8)

I tried this game last evening. The deal breaker was that all corpses have mass, and your character stumbles on them whenever you try to walk over them. He also stumbles over anything else on the ground, pretty much anything elevated two inches above the surface hes walking on will make him stumble. INCLUDING STAIRS.

Other than that the game was OK, would have liked more ammo drops.
