You need to select whatever interface you installed in the UniWs before you can undo the patch. Then choose a new interface to install.
1600x1200 is too big for your resolution. You need to have both values lower.
Use 1280x1024.

so i managed to get 1680x1050 working via the official method posted on this site. however, in game, the bar that should be above the PC (player character) is gone. the bar i'm referring to is the one that should appear over an enemies (or allies) head that allows you to choose options like frag grenade, and different combat options. this bar also shows HP. in addition to this not being present in my version, the action bar is also not visible. the action bar being a visual representation of the choices you've made in combat, essentially showing you your next move, etc. lastly, the player portraits that should be at the bottom left of the screen do not appear. so i think i've figured out the problem (and solution for that matter), but i'm having trouble implementing it. during the initial uniws setup, i forced 800x600 interface, as opposed to choosing something closer to the intended resolution, which, once again, is 1680x1050. i'm assuming this is why nothing except the game world and minimap is present on my screen. now for the solution, i figure i need to repatch my game with the 1600x1200 interface, which is closest to the 1680x1050 i would to use. i tried re-uniws'ing, but it won't allow to input any values under the new resolution heading. it also says to UNDO a kotor patch before applying a new one. how do i undo the 800x600 interface setting, and reapply the 1600x1200 setting? also, is this even the solution to my problem. i'm making an assumption here, but i could be completely wrong. any help appreciated~ |

reinstalled, and fixed the problem. hud placement isn't perfect, but who gives a shit. thanks a lot~ |
