Widescreen Gaming Forum

hey all, i'm just new to this forum, and had a little search around but couldn't find anything about this.

anyway, im a competitive cs player, and at home i have a viewsonic va1912w and a 17" crt. for counter-strike, i like to have a 4:3 aspect ratio, so i always use the 17" to play it. this is kind of annoying have to switch monitors everytime i play, so i was wondering if there was anyway to get my widescreen lcd to show a 4:3 aspect ratio, like 800x600 etc. at the moment when i try to it always stretches it to fit the screen. i have an ati radeon x800 and i use omega video card drivers.
