why can i choose only 2 widescreen resulitions in the game

counterstrike source

i have an LG Flatron L226WTQ-SF

First, do you have the resolutions in windows?

I know that counter strike source has a aspect ratio dropdown list under options, and 16:9 are also a widescreen.

Other then this, i thought that there was a command line for getting source on startup in the right resolution, dunno that for sure.

Last thing what you can try if the above doesn't work, is use an other rendering mode, dunno if source has that, (switch from/to openGL)
