I used the ini fix for NOLF 2 and had a strange problem. Some of the text is misaligned. For example the quit text on the title screen is not visible. I have to scroll with the arrows to quit. Does anyone else have this problem with NOLF 2?

I tried this on another Lithtech game and got the same result. I thought it might have been my DPI settings but the text is still missing even with the 120% DPI (Large Size) setting. I normally use 155%.

NOLF 2 = No One Lives Forever 2 :D

No one?

Here is the NOLF title using the hack on this site.

Here is TRON 2.0 using the same hack.

I would like to do a detailed report for TRON 2.0 but need to know if this is caused by my system settings or is a limitation of the Lithtech engine.

Any help?

Well it was not my DPI setting. :(

Maybe text size?

I can confirm that in TRON 2.0, the "Quit" option of the game menu gets cut off in widescreen resolutions. On standard ones it works fine.

Sent you a PM. I think it is standard with the Lithtech engine. Maybe a FOV fix for in game problems?

Tried the NOLF 2 FOV fixes as listed on this site with the Tron 2.0 game. I think the weapon appearence has changed. Everything else still stretches.

Change these display.cfg values to your resolution

"screenwidth" "XXXX"
"screenheight" "XXXX"

Add these values to your autoexec.cfg for 16:10

"pvmodelaspect" "1.6"
"pvmodelfov" "78"

I do not know 16:9 values sorry. :(

Without FOV fix

With FOV fix

Please note the disc weapon moves up and down gradually during the game. I believe I hit the screenshot at the highest point for both pics. Can anyone confirm that the FOV fix works?

I don't understand what you're asking. You've tried the FOV fix, and you've seen what the results are. What do you want anyone else to tell you that you haven't already seen for yourself?

Because I am not sure if it worked.

The weapon moves and it is difficult to get an accurate shot.

I was hoping that someone might be further along in the game and be able to get solid confirmation from other weapons that there is a change in their size/location.

Or I can say the hell with it and assume I am infallible. 8)

The weapon looks circular in the "fixed" shot to me. Of course, the game itself is still stretched.
