Well, i have STALKER with the 1.0003 Patch.

The native resolution of my monitor is 1680x1050 (16:10) and i have an ATI x1950 PRO.

I would like to run the game in 1280x800 but with 16:10 aspect ratio.

Is it possible? Can anyone make a patch or something?

1280x800 has a 16:10 aspect ratio.

Isn't it working properly for you?
If you can use that resolution in the game it should be right, or is the field of view cut down using that resolution?

Otherwise it should be fine to use that because it shouldn't be stretched or anything.

I don`t think it`s using 16:10 because the circles are not perfect, they are kind of stretched...

It may be using 16:9.

How can i confirm that?

Erm..

1280/800=1.6
16/10=1.6

1280x800 = 16:10
1280x720 would be 16:9

The HUD probably stretches but the rest of the game is fine. That's how I remember STALKER working (I haven't dived into it fully yet).

If the game world including characters, the players gun/hand etc are not stretched then it is using a 16:10 aspect ratio. 1280x800 is a 16:10 aspect ratio so I'm sure it is working.
Sounds like the HUD is stretching, but thats all thats wrong.

Hope that helps. :)

What everyone else said... my 1280 x 800 works fine for me, and there's no HUD stretching, but I modded the HUD a little bit.
