Does it happen with more than one game?

Do you have new drivers for your monitor and video card?

Are you sure your computer meets or exceeds minimum requirements?

Post your computer specs, please.

Welcome to the forums, may i say you've come to the right place.

...all widescreen monitors should have this website stamped on the box.

1) all the games in my pc cannot work it has that problem.

2) yes i just installed the new driver still does not work.

3) i think so the games i play can play smoothly when i was using my
old crt

Specs
Pentium 4 2.00Ghz
Ram 1.00GB
Graphics Card Nvidia Fx5500

Hm.

My first guess would be that your games are perhaps still trying to run your games at your old CRT's refresh rate, and your new LCD cannot match it, as you Samsung has a 60hz rate. That would certainly result in a blank screen. OR try runnign your games inside a window.

To find out quickly, delete (but backup) any config files for your games.

Which games are you trying to run?

Maybe someone else can pipe in on this?

PS - i assuem that all works okay in Windows and full-screen video?
