This might sound like a silly question, but is it possible to get the same advantage of multiple monitors on a single screen for gaming? I can think of two ways this would look: 1- A drastic letterbox/widescreen effect would occur but you would still have a wider field of view. OR 2- The equivalent of three screens would fill one monitor and in turn would be incredibly squished. Basically I’m just trying to get that advantage of a wider perspective on a single monitor for gaming. |

in those games where you have to change the fov variable you can always use a higher FOV. example would be typing 'fov 180' in oblivion console |

Okay, that’s cool. But what about games that don't allow me that option (like World of Warcraft)? Is there some kind of widescreen resolution I can use, or will that just give me the illusion of a wider image and really it’s just stretching the screen. |
