Hello all:

I have searched the forums on getting widescreen to function for Homeworld 2 but the command line switches don't seem to work for 1920x1200. I am using the following Target:

"C:Program FilesSierraHomeworld2BinReleaseHomeworld2.exe" -w 1920 -h 1200

But I think it is still running at 1600x1200 as things are a little stretched. Anyone have any ideas?

There may be a limit as to how high a resolution the game can handle. I could get Dungeon Keeper 2 to run up to 1280x800, but not up to 1440x900. Even though it supported 1280x1024 in 4:3 mode. You might try dropping to a lower res 16:10 and seeing if it looks any different. I know folks have played it at 1280x800 and 1440x900. There is also 1680x1050 that you might try.

I can confirm that 1680x1050 works fine. If a game won't do that, it doesn't stay on my laptop for very much longer... ;)

You need to patch Homeworld 2 first, as I recall... if you don't, it messes up with Anti-Aliasing enabled...

1920x1200 works for me on my new 2405FPW :)

I can't turn shadows on though, it just dumps to the desktop if I do. :(
