Hi.. First post, great forum.. plently of good info here.

On to the problem. Ive just got my 42" Plasma working at 1776*1000 in a 1080i timing, however when adjust the zero hour ini file to the same res, i get a message about directx 8.1 not being installed. If i lower the res to say 1280*768, works like a charm. any come across this problem and know how to fix it ?

That is odd...

Any of you HTPCer's know how to fix this? Or even a reason for it?
