Another broken UE4 game, gee, who's surprised. Thanks Epic! And thanks Sloclap for restricting it even further by forcing 16:9!

Thankfully we have people like Jack to fix developer's incompetence.

They said they're "looking into adding support", but the fact they released in this state is appalling. It's getting close to 2018 for fucks sake, this shouldn't be happening anymore.

Man I am hating gaming lately.

Game was updated and no longer pillarboxes to 16:9.

However, they don't understand what FoV scaling is, so it's rendering Vert-.

I haven't tested, but I'm going to assume the fix here no longer works.

Edit: Well I looked into it with the standard way of fixing UE3/4 games.

Paste into explorer: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Absolver\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

Open Engine.ini

Add:
Code:
[/Script/Engine.LocalPlayer]
AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainYFOV

FoV scaling is now Hor+.

The FoV is a bit higher than it should be, as UE4 has this dumb problem, but at least it's actually playable... though it might be too high on multi-monitor setups.
