Can you make it render at 2560 x 1440 (downsampling to 1080p) ? DSR is not working for me , only this game , it works fine with ger/ge2

first make sure your desktop in DSR Resolution (e.g 2560x1440) > Play a game > Go to Graphic Settings > Search your DSR Resolution

So I also had this problem with only stretching, Gunnest663, but after I actually loaded into the game(lobby, before starting the mission), then pointer address and value shown up.
It just fine now

Still stretches for me, and when i do change whatever pointer value it gives me to 2.37, it goes to 2.369999886 and still stretches out

@Leonidassu
Your trainer works nice on 2560x1080. Would it be possible to do one for resolution 3440X1440 ?
Thanks

Here you go. I added both.
Be sure to activate it after loading your savefile, or the trainer will not apply the asppect ratio pointer, resulting in stretching.

I can not speak English well.
Is resolution> 3840 X 1600, aspect ratio pointer> 2.4 possible on your trainer?
Excuse me

I ran into the same issue some of the users here and on steam were mentioning, where the aspect ratio sometimes wouldn't take.
One of the annoyances is that there's not (that I could find) a common pointer reference between the title screen and in game content that's available for both.
So, I focused on just in-game, and I was able to refine the pointer map a bit and get one that doesn't randomly clear itself based on your resolution or full screen status, after missions, returning and loading, etc etc.
If the issue persists, feel free to test on your side and update the trainer.
Reminder here that it still only works after game load, and won't be available on title screen.
New CT attached.

3840x1600 was added.

As always be sure to activate it after loading your savefile, or the trainer will not apply the asppect ratio pointer, resulting in stretching.

So I got Cheat Engine and starting grabbing some values for 3400x1440.... and I don't know what to do from there.
I'm basically clawing at thin air here.

I did all the tutorials Cheat Engine threw at me, though I'm not use if those would help in some way.

Did you find any solution?
I was also trying to fix the aspect ratio for 16:10 but I do not get it

I've been trying to fix this as well (mostly through brute force), but it seems the aspect ratio pointer jumps around in the code (address doesn't seem to stay the same on every game launch, so the only option is to look for it manually every time you launch the game)

I will explain how I did it in case anyone's interested.

Basically start cheat engine and the game. Open the game's process with cheat engine.

First, to remove the black bars you can find the screen width at address 7FF68FDBB360 (use the add address manually button) and change the value to your desired screen width (2560 for me), but this of course stretches the screen.

Now set the value type to double and do a scan for 1.7777. Then select a few of the values found and change these to the value of your aspect ratio (2.388888891 for 21:9).
If nothing changes in the game, revert the values back to what they were.
If the aspect ratio gets fixed, revert all the values as well and start changing the values individually to find the one that controls the aspect ratio (and then only change that one to the value for your aspect ratio).

This is what I ended up with.
Image

The Menus are stretched and it looks like the pixels are horizontally stretched as well. The original fix had 3 resolutions that needed to be modified and I've only found 1 yet.

However, I'm sadly giving up at this point.
Needing to search for the proper address for the aspect ratio on every launch is simply too much of a hassle.

I wish to donate 0.01 BTC to anyone who able to make easy to use 21:9 aspect ration fix (2560x1080 in my case) for GE3 v1.40. I don't care for stretched menus if it will be the only issue. Black bars make me sick.

I want to share with @everyone an issue that has beset the WSGF over the last week or so. Google has decided that the files we host (exe files, patchers, etc.) are malware. Thus, they have flagged the entire WSGF as hosting and/or linking malware, which inhibits site access and search rankings.

Both the WSGF and our older media server (WSGF Media dot com) have been flagged. We have found a solution for our hosted files, via our friends at PC Gaming Wiki. However, we still have an issue with the forums linking to the old WSGF Media server.

There is no feasible way to go through the forums and edit the possible thousands of posts that reference the WSGF Media server. And there is absolutely no guarantee that Google won't ping some future post attachment and flag the entire site again.

The forums are much quieter today then they used to be, with just 1 or 2 active posts per day on average, on top of this we continue to have issues with bots or humans creating accounts to post spam. Additionally, the forums have hampered our ability to enable HTTPS and update the site to be more modern and mobile friendly.

The internet itself has also shifted, with sites like Reddit and services like Discord, YouTube and Twitch being where most discussion happens. Given all of the above we are exploring the idea of "archiving" the forums into their own domain so that everything could be read, but no new posts or accounts could be created. We would then direct all new discussion to a Reddit community and/or our Discord server, which we hope will make discussing and working on fixes more practical.

We are really at a crossroads where the forums have gone from being a minor or moderate inhibitor to growth of the WSGF, to now a major roadblock (thanks to Google). We need a road forward, and wanted to reach out to the community to socialize the issue and our ideas, and to get your feedback.

I'd love to hear your feedback in our Discord Server - https://discord.gg/FcVYWgh
