I have put together a tool that corrects Vegas 2's aspect ratio for multi-monitor configurations:

Just run the program, choose you desired monitor configuration, then start the game.

This tool supersedes the old hacked executable.

If you want a custom resolution supported just ask in this thread and I'll update the tool.

I just tried this tool again with my newer arrangement of 6060x1200 and my image stays stretched, no matter the drop-down menu selection. :(

Bt if i get it working, I see you're still on my Steam list, so I'll harass you for a match.

EDIT: hm i just tried the non-compensated 5760x1200 and it's still nto working, so I must be doing something wrong...

Any idea what might have changed in your setup between when it worked before and now? Hardware change should have no effect. Did the game .exe change in any way?

Also, a match would be cool, though my game time will be getting scarce rather soon since I'm starting a new full time job. I get online when I can, so cast a look my way on Steam occasionally.

Any success yet? I still can't guess why the fix stopped working, but there has to be a reason. Wish I could help...

Nope, no luck. Tried launching it before and after the game start, different multi-mon resolutions, different Fix settings, even closed firewall to make sure it wasn't stopping something. I only got it to work that one time.. and i played for a bit with no issue. Only thing that has changed is my GPU. I think I had a different Catalyst driver version, too. I guess I'll try again when 12.5 comes out, as 12.4 gives me BSODs.

Yep, I don't get it.

Surely there is someone else that can try it out..

Well we can start with the standard stuff.

Why don't you post the filesize, version (Steam/retail/etc.), and MD5 hash for your R6Vegas2_Game.exe. I'll keep thinking about what we can do.

Steam version. 28,983,296 bytes. MD5: 0F827BFD0FB4C8FB64F823432F0F386E

I just tried it again a minute ago and it was correct for just a couple seconds with the 'guys running loading animation. I thought maybe it was my Steam overlay, but disabling it did nothing. Damned thing got my hopes up for a second. Haha.
