You know what would be great? Support for AOE2 and widescreen resolutions.

Damn..this doesn't work with Cross Racing Championship 2005:-(

Anyone who have tried out and found any solutions to how to run this game in 1680*1050??

Oh my god..I am such an idiot..
There is 1680*1050 resolution option when choosing the resolution you want..blush..
I need new glasses..
But I am not sure that the fov is right in the game..

This resolution changer was made for Just Cause but it may work with other games ... give it a try ...

Just download this rar file and un-zip into your Game folder ... where the games .exe is.

Resolution Changer

Now open up the ... resolution.ini ... file and change the resolution to the one you desire ...

Start the game it may now run in the chosen resolution ... :D

These may be supid questions, but I'll have a go at it.
Will this program void my monitor warranty (3-years)?
Do I have to worry about Punkbuster kicking me from servers (in BF2)?
How about other games?
Basically, what are the risks involved in using this software?
Any info is appreciated.

I doubt it.

Don't know ... and you don't need this to get widescreen resolutions in BF2 ...

How about other games?
Again I don't know as I don't/can't play online.

Basically, what are the risks involved in using this software?
Minimal I would think.

Can you make one for DX8 games?

This one only works for DX9 programs...

There are many older games that i'd like to get native resolution support in.

I've added this to our mirror, and added an entry on the new Racer_S Hacks Wiki page

There might be a total incompatibility with amBX... I just experienced it in Just Cause. Will have to reinstall Evil Genius to investigate further. :?

Did you set the resolution in the Resolution Changer's ini ?
Any changes won't show up in the games options ... it should just run at the chosen res ... if it works.
To check if it is using your chosen res take a screenshot and see what size it is.

Nice tool, but there is a problem - http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/node/5498#comment-121709

Does someone have an idead how to fix it?

I tried to contact with Racer_S, but this seems to be impossible (ToCA edit forums are disabled, e-mail isn't accepting anything...).
