It was three years ago that we published The Witcher, our debut title. We've been working on its sequel and revealing bits and pieces of information about it ever since that game hit store shelves. We learned a heap of things while working on the first game, enough to believe truly and deeply that The Witcher 2 will improve on its venerable predecessor and be a source of even more fun. Uh-oh. |

I don't think I'll lose sleep because I can't get the exclusive Amazon.com sword or GameStop sex card, but yeah. Sucks. Got an e-mail from GoG.com. Got an e-mail from TheWitcher.com. All DD sites have The Witcher 2 on their front page. Beat me over the head with it ! I'm NOT pre-ordering 6 months before release  |

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2010-11-22-witcher-2-torrents-could-net-you-a-fine Gamers who download upcoming PC exclusive The Witcher 2 illegally could receive a letter demanding they pay a fine or face legal action. Interestingly, The Witcher 2 will be released digital rights management free – but only through the CD Projekt-owned digital download shop GOG.com. |

Interestingly, The Witcher 2 will be released digital rights management free – but only through the CD Projekt-owned digital download shop GOG.com. If they're releasing it on their digital download service DRM free, why not DRM free on the DVD version, too? (I'm not averse to a CD-key, but disc check or other DRM is just annoying.) And if bought through Steam it has Steam DRM, so I can understand that one. |

I preordered it at Direct2Drive my favorite way to buy games. I buy everything I can through them. How ever I do own 10 games from GoG, fantastic site and they do such a good job its even worth the price for games I already own. For $4.19 I did not spend hours making Moo1 and Moo2 work with dos box, I ran a 1 minute install and it just works. To top it off they included an IPX wrapper, so you can play Moo2 network in windows 7. ROCKEN! |
