As of yet, the PC version is TBA. EA hasn't officially cancelled it, but they're not currently working on it either. I'm hoping they keep it in development, because Dead Space in Eyefinity rocks. |

Dead Space was my favorite game of the year it came out and after. I am 100% not interested in Dead Space 2. They basically said they're going to focus less on the horror and more on action. The suit looks dumb and goes against all the planning and design of the original Gothic-inspired suit and environment. My interest may change as more and more about the game are revealed and shown off, but as of right now I'm just not interested in the sequel unfortunately. |

Yeah, they have been pretty up front about it now being an action game. I still want a PC port in case it is a great action game, but it is certainly a disappointment since the original was a rare actual survival horror game. It's all about the unwashed masses now, my friend. |

I have to disagree. There was a lot of survival horror elements to Dead Space, but Dead Space was to me about as close of a balance between action and survival horror as something like Resident Evil tends to be. Something along the line of the original couple Silent Hills would be more survival horror to me, as it's more about the atmosphere. While Dead Space did have a good atmosphere, once you got used to it, a lot of the game was spent simply mowing down necromorphs. With that in mind, what I've read of Dead Space 2 hints that they're keeping a similar mixture or action and horror. If they lean too much towards action though, I must agree, it won't be worth looking at. |

I never played Silent Hill, I just know Dead Space had limited ammo, limited storage and was slow-paced and very scary. That seems like survival horror to me. |
