For all those who ever wondered what a cross between Bejeweled and a JRPG would be like.

I thought Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords already covered that territory.

It looks EXACTLY like puzzle quest. Except it seems deeper and has the twist mechanism which I dislike.

I needed a lede. It's me. What else was I supposed to do?

Okay okay. Ahem...

- Square Enix finally succumbs and goes full casual. PC gamers exclaim, "I told you so!"

- Once again another game that forces you to play with your jewels.

- PopCap has discovered what these newfangled "resolutions" are and how they work.

- Square Enix game for PC and 360 only. Further proof that God hates Sony.

The game appears to have three options.

Windowed 800x600

Windowed 1280x720

and a FullScreen Mode which is 1280x960 or maybe 1280x960 is the highest the game will support. Sad.

Casual puzzle games aren't exactly known for their high-res support... popcap games only display in 640x480.

I bought some Luxor game a while back and was amazed it had 1080p support.

I guess I figured that with the higher production values they would have done that. Considering that they are already scaling to support a letterboxed 16:9 image for 800x600 I don't see why they wouldn't of done the same for higher resolutions. Well at least they understand the concept at least.
