I got the game today, retail copy. It came with GFWL, which listed "Insane Night" as the most popular download, free DLC. So I downloaded it through the GFWL client.

Now what?

On a possibly related note, there's an authentication key on the back of the manual, but I haven't been asked to enter it yet.

It says installed, it works automatically... GFWL installs the content for you, like Steam would.

Go to challenge maps in-game and it should be the last one.

It's a folder called "XLive" in Appdata somewhere.

I've got the following "Appdatas":
Documents and SettingsApplication Data
Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication Data
Documents and SettingsGuestApplication Data
Documents and SettingsLocal ServiceApplication Data
Documents and SettingsNetwork ServiceApplication Data

None of them have an "xlive" inside. I did a search too, which didn't turn up that folder.

Appdata>Local>Microsoft>Xlive>DLC

That's where it is for me.

Found it:
Documents and SettingsLocal SettingsApplication DataMicrosoftXLive

Though there isn't anything obvious I can do with it.

Could be an OS thing, I'm on Win7.

And you can't do much with it no, just back it up if you want. The challenges should appear in-game. Maybe they are under a seperate downloads menu and I forgot about it.

Yeah the menu system in Batman:AA is a bit annoying... you have to be in a certain place to get access to certain menus... i think from in-game if you press esc (i.e. while loaded up in a game actually playing) you can see the XLive + Challenges etc.
