Based on the "new content" pics I would say they are talking about the international builds which were never released outside of Japan. Hopefully I am wrong on that point. :(

Again no mention of widescreen.

So they never made XI, but named it X-2?

Personally, I'd rather see the rest of the Metal Gear games come to PC...

It probably will. The console versions ran at the same resolution, but it had a built in aspect-ratio selection between 4:3 and 16:9. FFXI lets you select any resolution and an aspect ratio. So they'll probably do the same when it's ported to the PC.

The International version of X-2 has a 16:9 widescreen option. But I think it is a stretch. Or something unpleasant, I cannot remember.
