the Xbox controller every PC gamer should have by this point

no sorry, I refuse to give in to this stupid monopole, plus I don't like the controller at all
I prefer a joystick/mouse/keyboard combo. This monopole is what is actually killing quite a bunch of games from including any form of way to fully customize controls & the like ... (GTA4, Shaun White Snowboarding ...)

I'm all for the PC being an open platform, but sorry, I love the fact we now have a standard controller. It makes controller oriented games much, much better with 100% support and in-game button graphics.

To each his own ;)
hopefully for us, there's an xinput emulator, however it seriously lacks a main configuration interface which makes it very unpractical for configuring it ...

And FF3 is pretty decent. I played the fan-translated ROM awhile back, long before the DS remake came out. FF2 on the other hand is a turdball, and none of its half-dozen or so remakes fix it. Not even the PSP one, which doesn't come bundled with the FF1 remake, and therefore is entirely skippable.

Ah? I quite liked FF2. The story is cliche, but it's an old game so that's OK. The battle system is actually quite cool once you've got used to it - levelling up take a lot of grinding, but it's not too bad.

That said, I like FF3j a lot. Although I think my favourite will forever be FF6, closely followed by FF4 or 5... can't decide which.
