Oh, no, I agree completely. I was just illustrating the things that made the PS3 for me. 8)

I'll admit that the last RPG I got totally-lost-track-of-time-completely-absorbed-in was probably Deus Ex or Final Fantasy VIII, but there are lots that I like. Life gets in the way of obsessive gaming now! :D

Everyone's different. For example, I can't see the draw of these FPS games that tout 'realism' above all else - lots of others do.

How does Wiimote support work in Dolphin? Do you need an actual Wiimote, or does it support a mouse for pointing, or what?

I don't have a Wii - there are only four games I have any interest in (TLOZ: Twilight Princess, Super Mario Galaxy, Resident Evil 4 Wii, and Metroid Prime Trilogy). But I might just buy those games to play on Dolphin if the emulation is good enough.

I'm also trying to see if I can get a homebrew game working on Dolphin, but the download says to extract the data to an SD card, while Dolphin wants me to give it an ISO. I tried making an ISO out of the homebrew game data, but that didn't work.

- No DLC content, and it is kind of important, like the ending. Prince of Persia!

No. DLC does not always have content. Like so...

Everyone is so butt hurt over missing the Prince of Persia content, but A) that game was kind of meh anyway, and B) the ending of the game should damn well be the ending anyway. The DLC should be superflous.

Anyway, from what I heard that game sold like ass across all platforms, so I'm surprised any of them got DLC.

Well i'm not sure about the wiimote, i know that it does support a physical wiimote via bluetooth and you must have a sensor bar (can be made out of many things around the house, even two candles) The emulation is pretty good, depending on the game of course, some work better than others on different builds. For the most part i just play games that can use the gamecube controller so, i haven't tried that functionality yet.

I cant help you with homebrew, i played homebrew on an actual wii when i had it.

If consoles were open platforms I would be a console gamer.

Of course, then they wouldn't be consoles.

one word : GP2X

also might want to get an eye on this community in the near future, my cousin just got a pre-release console (kind of a GP20X or something) for which I don't know the name....
