Crashing how on exit? Crash to Desktop, or is it bluescreening Windows?

Hm... it's weird that I'm running the game on a technically unsupported OS and I'm having no problems (Windows 2000 isn't listed as supported...)

Crashing to desktop, typical "Illegal Operation" error. Other than that its fine. Id did crash once or twice during gameplay(causing my tc to restart), but im guessing that was down to my bad ram.

Ah, OK. When I tried Oblivion out on my less than stellar AthlonXP box, it ran OK, but would always CTD on exit. I put it down to the fact that I only have 1GB of RAM in that box, as the other two machines I tested it on had 2GB, and worked fine...

I found a work around for the crashing on exit: I exit to the main menu, then exit the game. If I try to exit from the game, crash everytime, but if exit to the main menu, then exit game, no probs. Might want to try it.

And how could that feller "finish" it already? Finish or quit? I've been playing since the day it came out, 2 hours avg a day and haven't even started the main quest yet and am still on level 1 for Fighters guild and just about to make journeyman for the Mage's. Finshed? Hard to believe.

I've actually had a bug where I cleared the entire contense of a box in my house in Bruma. I did some odd mouse clicks/button hits and I closed the box, opened it and everything was GONE... Luckily I just loaded the autosave at the door of the house and was fine. Haven't had it happen since.

But I also get the CTD about 50% of the time which honestly doesn't make a damn bit of difference. Whatever is messing up isn't hurting anything as far as I can see.

I've also had items sink into the ground... As with NPCs/Monsters doing the same. Nothing that affects the gameplay though, if it does it's always like a random thing and I can simply load and it fixes itself.

I also heard their was a bug with the Viper Eye Ring you get from a mission in Bruma I believe it was. Where it's a key item, but then stays that way even after the mission and you cannot get rid of it. Which I have the ring and cannot get rid of it even though the mission is long over.

Anyways, I'd rather Bathesda work on OFFICIAL addons rather than patching the game. I want to be able to shoot my bow from horseback, it only makes sense that you could darnit, heh.

Archery from horseback is something I'd like to see - as is charging at something swinging a sword.

It'd be nice to have a horse that could fight, too - why do I have to get off my horse to kill some annoying wolf that's been chasing me for ages? Why can't my horse just kick it to death as as the wolf attacks it?

But... eh... maybe that'd make the game too easy or something. :?

Yeah, my first thought was that horseback riding should've been a skill/ guild where one could improve thier riding attack skills.

That would have been a nice idea.

They could have brought horseback duels into the game then :)

Charrette battles anybody??? Now that'd be some sweet shit... I'd love to be able to own more than one horse, and perhaps a house NOT inside a town so you could get a garden, tool (weapon) shed, and maybe a basement too!!... I so wish my Bruma house had a basement like some of the other houses in Bruma.
Ahh... So dreamy, hehe
