Ys Origin is an action RPG that details some of the events that preceded previous Ys games. Players can control different characters who have their own unique playing style, abilities, and story progression. Additional content can be unlocked as players progress through the game.Think of Ys Origin as a love child between Zelda and Seiken Densetsu.

Please note this is currently a non-english game but a translation patch is in the works here.

The WSGF has a hack confirmed to work with the 1.1.0.3 Japanese version of the game. This will remove the stretching in the 3D world in widescreen and TH resolutions. You can use the buttons or hotkeys for some common aspect ratios. You can also manually input a custom aspect ratio in the text field.

The game needs to be running before using the hack. You can use hotkeys in-game.

Didn't know where to post this but FYI only the Steam version of Ys Origin has the enhanced widescreen support. The boxed versions do not.
