options->graphics->aspect ratio (3:4, 1:1, 4:3, 16:9, 16:10, 8:3) Here's the graphics options screen: 
Where is this "aspect ratio" that is spoken of? |

It's what i discoverd that it effect a little bit, so I will look if i could post a screenshot. All the aspect ratio's are taken from the resolution 1680x1050 The 1:1 
The 4:3 (normal) 
the 8:3 (dual screen) 
The 16:10 (widescreen) 
I don't know why somethimes the background is disappear, but you can see on the right side of the pictures that there are bugs with these stars. Those stars appears in the beginning of a song, but should be disapear. You can see that it is by the 16:10 shot that it isn't that bad but on 8:3 it is much worse. If you've got some questions The_cranky_hermit, then i will try to answer them. |

Yes, the third screenshot that P-Storm posted has a big '4' on it, and that tipped me off that the features are in the unstable version. And I have a tip for you - insulting someone who asks for help with a solution is not a good way to make friends, even if you provide the relevant information first. |

No problem. Betas get listed here all the time. It's just a good idea to make it clear you're using a beta when talking about one. |

1024x768, aspect ratio 4:3 
1280x800, aspect ratio 16:10 The overlay elements are centered and scaled correctly, but the background is stretched. The extra horizontal space appears to serve no purpose but to display the stretched background, so I'm going to call this stretched. To be honest, it doesn't seem like there's any way StepMania could benefit from widescreen no matter how it's implemented. |
