"Windows 10 updates are downloaded quietly. The only time we notice them is when the system tells us it needs to reboot in order to finish the installation, which is always annoying because they should automatically do that once the PC shuts down. Now these updates will require even less space.

Microsoft designed three different types of updates for the OS: full updates, express updates and delta updates. Beginning February 2019, the company will stop rolling out delta updates in order to focus on full and express updates."

In other words, the following Windows 10 versions can still use incremental updates: 1607, 1703, 1709, and 1803. Once these versions are no longer supported, incremental updates will no longer be rolled out.
