Q: What's your thoughts/ experience of Eyefinity (Multi-Display Gaming)?

I never used multi display because i never had enough money to buy more than 1 highend graphics card. I've tried both favlors of ATI and NVIDIA gpus over the years.

Anyway from the benchmarks multi gpus show good fps, and multi display looks nice for a wide bigger view. I'd like to get to experience it hopefully

I've always had high end cards, but have never done multi-monitors. I'd love to, though, (although, I can almost hear my wife groaning now and saying, "Really?!?").

Well, currently my rig is mostly used for home theater, the new HD 6870 would be a great excuse to upgrade my rig to play more games. I can't image how awesome it would be to own 3 of these 40 inch samsungs for an amazing Eyefinity display for playing scenic games like World in Conlict. I have watched the Eyefinity videos on youtube and the technology looks very promising and easy to use.

Honestly, I have not yet experienced this wonderful thing called Eyefinity; however, that is about to change. I'm already looking for a second monitor and this 6870 will be the deciding factor in my Eyefinity plan.

Been multi-monitor gaming now for a few years, and would never go back! Started with a TH2Go setup and since upgraded to a Radeon HD5970. The extra immersion it gives you in games is amazing plus I find it definitely gives you an edge in first-person games, as you can see enemies out of the corner of your eyes that otherwise you'd normally miss. If you've been holding out, take the plunge, you wont' regret it.

As a club president, we use large (1080p) projectors to display information during our events, but they are not that suitable for gaming events (eg: SSF4 tournaments, consoles), because only one projector per team / limited refresh rate. I think an Eyefinity setup of 4 displays would rock for information on the large, one massive 3840x2160 SSF4 display or break apart the display for 4 concurrent gaming sessions.

Of course that wouldn't be possible with onboard video (or traditional dual head cards without SLI/Crossfire), and the HD 6870 would be a perfect compliment to our dual core gaming server.

Eyefinity its a cool idea, but atm only my dad uses it for megavideo series.

I use windowed mode or softth. Altho if eyefinity had multi-resolutions.... :( (my resolutions have almost same height :P)

I've never played w/multi monitors. Been a long time console player, built a pc to play ffxiv and swtor. Had never seen eyefinity till after I built it, dont think my current rig is up to it. I'm totally sold on the benifits thou, and since the pc has become my main gaming rig. I plan to upgrade and move to an eyefinity set up, when funds allow.

I Think Sony and Microsoft Need to start putting this Technology in to the PS3 and xBox cauz it is just pure awsome

I've been a multi-monitor gamer for a little while now. I started out using softTH with a 4650 and an onboard graphics card with two 15" and one 19" monitor. It was fun but I hated having to always mess with the game files to get it to work right. I have moved to a 5830 now and have been thoroughly impressed with its performance running 3 19" monitors on a triple monitor stand off of amazon, I got for about $60 :). So I am looking forward to the evolution of this aspect of gaming.
