I'm sure most folks saw our news post that YouTube had gone fully HD. I've worked to re-upload our videos to YouTube over the last few days. I've also done a test run (using the Ergotron review) on using YouTube in our video gallery, and I think it's a smashing success.

Original Ergotron YouTube video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPOhufWu034

New Ergotron YouTube video (Normal):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VlWssl0k4_c

New Ergotron YouTube video (HQ):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VlWssl0k4_c&fmt=18

New Ergotron YouTube video (720p):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VlWssl0k4_c&fmt=22

New Ergotron YouTube video (HQ @ 840x525):

New Ergotron YouTube video (720p @ 1280x720):

Let me know what you think. I will be migrating the other video pages to the YouTube, and adding the HD option. Will post to the front page when done.

Cool,

My favorite videos are the ones that show standard on top vs surround on bottom. Nothing has ever been a better way to compare surround vs standard IMO and the quality of the old ones was just not there.

If we can get any HD versions of those I will be so happy.

Those are already in HD. All you have to do is go to the video, and then click the little link that says "Watch in HD."

Oh I did not notice. I must have checked before it was there and it was still "watch in high quality" I did not bother to try &fmt=22 I guess.

The links switched from "HQ" to "HD" just in the last couple of days. There is really no HQ option anymore, unless you force with the 18 switch. I'm forcing that on the initial video page load, as not everyone has the bandwidth or time (or screen space) to watch the full 720p.
