Widescreen support in EverQuest is native. Ini-modification is still an option but all resolutions supported by the monitor are available in-game. EverQuest has a fixed fov and is therefore "vert-": 1280x1024: 
1600x900: 
1680x1050: 
UI and splash screens do not stretch. |

I'm after what .ini alterations are required to set the in game rez to 1680x1050. I realise it's in a way native in that if u play in windowed mode it uses your desktop resolution. However, I'd rather play full screen and despite the fact that my monitor's native rez is 1680x1050, my desktop rez is 1680x1050 but EQ doesn't offer this rez as an option in the options screens. Or are we saying that the only way to get the rez to 1680x1050 is to play in windowed mode? Either I'm doing something bizarrely wrong or I need to know what commands to add to the .ini file and where to make it work :) |
