It's been a great six months since my last newsletter, and a lot has happened. Get all the information here, and the links below.

As of September, Paddy is stepping down as Moderator. His career is taking off, and he simply doesn't have the time to moderate the site anymore. Be sure to stop by and thank him for all of this hard work. As a parting gesture, Paddy is funding a contest for a new site logo - with a top prize of US$200, plus X-Trac mouse pads, games and t-shirts from NVIDIA.

We've also beefed up the Insider package, adding a Blog and an image/screenshot gallery. We're also running a raffle for all Insiders, for $350 in cash prizes. All you've got to do is be an Insider.

We've finished the Master Monitor, Video & Notebook lists. We also re-tooled the Master Game List and have added a gold/silver/bronze medaling system to help you find those games with the best widescreen support. We've also added over 75 games to the Screenshot page, and added Surround comparison shots for almost 40 games.

We've added several new feature items as well. We've got reviews of the X-Trac Hybrid Mousepad, the Wacom Intuos3 Widescreen Tables, and a Widescreen/Surround Camera Fix for Dunegon Siege 2. Finally, we've got an interview with the folks at Sigil games about widescreen gaming and their upcoming MMO title, Vanguad: Saga of Heroes. My favorite quote out of the whole thing is:

"Converting a game to widescreen is actually quite simple, and any game maker who is making a PC game is going to already have everything in his engine that he needs to support widescreen."
