Greeting to one and all, I'm happy to say that just yesterday I joined the wide screen gaming life style with an lg 25um65-p! 25 inches may seem a bit small to some, but it was in my price range($200 from microcenter, can't beat that for a recent college grad) and fits well on my desk to leave just enough room for the other stuff I need on it. I don't think I can go back to 16:9 ever again, even just playing sonic adventure 2 and doom on gzdoom the change is so drastic and amazing.
