Hello all,
I have an IT Company that mostly supports Architects, Engineers, and Builders. We often do multiple monitor workstations, and have been asked by a builder to create a multi-projector gaming room in the basement of a house for a Parade of Homes. We are newbies when it comes to gaming.
We are familiar with Eyefinity setups, and already built the computer (XFX 7950, i7, SSD, 16 GB, etc.) and have it hooked up to three 46" LED Monitors in our conference room. The plan is to use this computer, build out a 2 or 3 projector setup on an 8' high curved screen. We can do pretty much anything we want in the space (it's about 17' square unfinished, 9' ceiling), have access to the carpenters to frame out a curved wall if necessary.
Looking for advice on best way to create a curved screen - I'm thinking only a single curve because it would be pretty easy and not sure how to construct a double-curve that could be removed later. Getting a taller image is more important than something super-wide, which is where using 2 projectors came up. Also looking for recommendations on projectors, software for blending and color matching, and any advice on the things I have not thought about.
Thanks, and this looks like a great community.
