I'm a professional software developer, and an independent contractor. As a Developer, I tend to have 30-40 windows open at any given time. I really don't like it when windows hide behind other windows, so of course the answer was to add more pixels. As a 1099 contractor, I get to use my own hardware. 'Nuff said. Most of it's covered under NDA, but I design and write large-scale, proprietary, Enterprise platforms. Mostly I write software to replace people. Some of my projects include: - A bulk email engine that processes 27 emails per second - A billing reporting engine that allows government customers to design, run, and export reports on their phone service bills - Workforce and fleet management with GPS and map integration |
