Is exclusive fullscreen support out of the question?
Borderless is less than idea if you want to avoid the DWM forced laggy vsync, or use nvidia gsync on adaptive / freesync displays since it doesn't function properly in windowed / borderless modes.

Just thought I would add in my experience. GOG version, replaced the correct file in the correct Binaries/Win64 folder, but only getting a 16:9 resolution. Have tried fullscreen, windowed, and borderless; and I have also tried running each display mode in every available resolution ...
