I got the game running with jackfuste's patch by dropping PVRTexLib.dll in the game directory, sourced from here: m
This reverses whatever changes they made, but the game was running fine for me.
ah nice - i tried a few versions of that file - clicking link and downloading it so its the 563kb ...

same problem dll error - bugger only bought this game for the 32:9 patch fix to play on samsung 32:9 chg90 
patched worked perfect just fade black overlay was visible but game ran much better in 32:9 than what they released wish the devs would include 32:9 now that we all know it runs fine
